Floyd Mayweather fights Marcos Maidana in a rematch on Sept. 13...

All is now set for the much anticipated rematch bout between the Money Man Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana.

The rematch is scheduled for September 3, 2014, yet again at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas 

The Money Man did announce this in a tweet posted below:

A rematch was definitely going to happen as Floyd Mayweather's victory against his Argentine opponent, Marcos Maidana, was seen by the many fans who had thronged the MGM Grand to witness the fight as a dubious one.

The Money Man had said he was all set for a rematch on any day when he had been asked whether he was going to give the Argentine the second chance.

The May 3rd bout saw Floyd Mayweather emerge as the winner informed by a majority decision by the judges, taking away the WBA Welterweight Title from the hard-punching Argentine, Marcos Maidana.

One judge scored it a draw : 114-114; whilst the other two judges scored theirs as 116-112 and 117-111 in favour of Floyd Mayweather, keeping his professional record perfect at 46-0.
