Internet’s most hated man faces seven years in jail...

Hunter Moore, the operator of a US "revenge p0rn" website that hosted stolen nude photos, has pleaded guilty to hacking and identity theft.

Moore could face a prison sentence of between two and seven years for the offences.

He signed court papers stating that he had paid another man, whom he named as Charles Evens, to hack websites to steal photos.

Evens has pleaded not guilty and will face trial in March.

Moore is due in court on February 25. The hearing could be postponed until March.

His website, IsAnyoneUp, hosted pictures of naked women, posted without their consent. It featured pictures of the daughter of a major Republican political donor and an American Idol finalist, before it was taken down in April 2012.

Moore claimed the site was yielding $10,000 a month in revenues.

But following a barrage of criticism, he sold the site to an anti-bullying group.

"I am burned out and I honestly can't take another underage kid getting submitted and having to go through the process of reporting it and dealing with all the legal drama of that situation," he wrote when he sold the site.

He was arrested in January last year.
