Woman photographer dares city authorities by going n*de in public...

Forget clothes, birthday suits are trending right now especially for a French photographer Erica Simeone, who has been living in New York City for 12 years.

Simeone practically moves about totally naked with just her footwear and is totally cool with it even in the snowy cold weather of the city.

She takes pictures of herself just everywhere including the subway, library and so on.

In a bid to explain her photographic project, the 29-year-old photographer said, "What would the world feel like being naked?

What if we didn't have clothing to come in between us?

Or if we couldn't show off our social statues? What if all we had were our bodies to express our personalities?

Explaining the reason behind her naked photo, Simeone took to her site where she said, "As I watch an image-absorbed society care more about the sales at Barney's than the homeless people, they ignore as they parade by, I began to ponder: 'What would the World feel like being naked?

"What if we didn't have clothing to come in between us?

"Or if we couldn't show off our social statues? What if all we had were our bodies to express our personalities?"

From there, my photographic project was born. With a tripod and a couple ounces of adrenaline, I took to the busy streets to get a taste of New York in the nude.

It might interest anyone to know that the photographer is not trying to shock anyone with her naked photo shoots.

She insists that she is only creating art and trying to raise $10, 000 to publish a book of her naked photos.
