Before she heads to Europe on her "Pinkprint" tour, Nicki Minaj went in front of the lens to shoot a video for her new single "The Night Is Still Young."

Rocking a black ponytail and busty black dress, Queen Nicki hit the downtown L.A. set on Thursday and performed choreographed scenes under the direction of Casper Smart.

The Dr. Luke and Cirkut-produced song appears on her chart-topping album The Pinkprint.

Meanwhile, her Drake and Lil Wayne-assisted hit "Truffle Butter" is No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, but there will most likely not be a music video.

"When a song is that successful without a video, I don't really know if we need one," Nicki toldBBC Radio 1Xtra's Charlie Sloth. "It was just for the streets, for the love, and we weren't really gonna shoot a video, to be honest."

However, she did debut a lyric video for the song this week.

On March 16, she will kick off her "Pinkprint" tour with Trey Songz in Sweden before heading to the U.S. this summer with special guest Meek Mill.
