Sad news: Ghanaian music producer George Forest is dead and gone for good...

Sad information reaching us at Bigtimerz.com indicates that ace Ghanaian Music Producer, George Forest has passed on.

According to a family source that Bigtimerz.com spoke to, the outspoken music producer died at the OKomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the early hours of this morning (August 31th, 2016) after he had been admitted to the hospital the previous day (August 30th, 2016).

Full details of the exact cause of his death have yet to be known but the family source told us George Forest who had been struggling with sickness days before his demise had been diagnosed of pneumonia.

George Forest before his death was the official music producer for Highlife guru, Nana Acheampong.

He produced the biggest ever Highlife song in the history of Ghana music, "Nanka εbεyε dεn na ayε wo ya" for Nana Acheampong which is reported to have sold over a million copies.

He also produced Phillipa Baafi's "Go High" gospel song.

George forest is well acknowledged for producing hit gospel songs for the likes of Obaapa Christy, Enerst Opoku, Cecilia Marfo and many more others.

He also won the 'Best Sound Engineer of the Year' at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
