Full list of the 2016 Ghana Music Awards UK winners: Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy win big...

The maiden edition of the Ghana Music Awards UK event put together by Alordia Promotions and West Coast Entertainment UK came off at the Gaumont Palace (Dominion Center) in the United Kingdom this Saturday, November 5th.

Shatta Wale went home with the ultimate award on the night which is Artiste Of The Year plus Music Producer of the Year, Dancehall Artiste of the Year and Most Popular Song of the Year.

Sarkodie was adjudged the Best Rapper of the year, and Stonebwoy took home two awards: Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year and Album of the Year.

The Lifetime Achievement Award on the night went to Gyedu Blay-Ambulley and Freddie Annan.
Performers on the night were Stonebwoy, Samini, Slim Busterr, Duke of D2 and the others.

The MCs of the event were Kwaku Owusu Frimpong of Rainbow Radio and Vox Africa, Evelyn Asante of ABN Radio and TV, Confidence Haugen and DJ Abrantie, with Hot FM’s DJ Billy serving patrons music on the night as the Official DJ.
