Ebony Reigns: Fare thee well; see photos of the final funeral rites of the late Dancehall Queen...

The final funeral rites for one of Ghana’s popular female artistes, the late Ebony Reigns has been undertaken at the Forecourt of the State House, Accra.

The #90sBadGyal who once wowed Ghanaians with hit songs like Poison, Sponsor, Kupe, Date Ur Fada, and so on was laid-in-state whilst Politicians, Musicians, sympathizers, family members, and many other Ghanaians of all walks of life paid their last respects and glowing tributes to her memory.

The Osu Cemetery is the final destination where the burial service is currently underway.

Some of the spotted personalities at the funeral grounds include: Dr. Lawrence Tetteh (Officiating Pastor); Rev. Owusu Bempa; Bullet (Manager of late Ebony); Stonebwoy (Dancehall artiste); Catherine Afeku (Minister of Creative Arts & Tourism); Bice Osei Kuffour / Obour (President of MUSIGA); Oko Vandapoe (Former Mayor of Accra); Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM); Madam Oye Lithur; Grace Omaboe (Maame Dokono); Afia Schwarzenegger, and many others.

Ebony who’s known in private life as Pricilla Opoku-Kwarteng met her untimely death as a result of a fatal accident she had on the Sunyani-Kumasi road after she had visited her mum in Sunyani.

She perished together with her bosom friend, Franky Kuri, and her bodyguard, Francis Vondee Atsu in the gory accident.
