It's now official: DJ Khaled to vote for Hillary Clinton...

DJ Khaled sat down with Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric to talk about his new album Major Key, his words of wisdom, Snapchat, and who he is voting for in the upcoming election.

Couric asked Khaled to give his thoughts on Donald Trump and he replied with his explanation of “they”:

“They don’t want you to win. They don’t want you to progress. They don’t want you to prosper. They want to lock the door on you ... they are also come in different disguises. They can actually come hug you, and come show you love, but be really behind the scenes and really [try to] finish you.”

So is “they” Donald Trump? Khaled says he doesn’t personally know the Republican nominee, but he did tell Couric that Trump won't get his vote. That sort of means Trump is a "they," right?

“I’m not votin’ for him. No. Definitely not voting for him. The key is to vote because we need a vote to put the people in power that we want to represent us. So I’m definitely gonna vote for Hillary," he says.

Khaled previously endorsed Clinton during his appearance on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, which was canceled earlier this month. During the segment, the We the Best CEO gave his keys to election success: Get Your Debate Game Tight, Know You’re a Boss, and Get a Major Endorsement. He tied that last point to his announcement that he was joining Team Hillary.

Khaled also confirmed to Couric that he’s planning on joining Beyoncé again for a few spot dates on her "Formation" world tour in September.
