A suspected armed robber this who tried to rob his victim at gunpoint in broad day light at American House in East Legon has been arrested by the police,

The incident which happened this Saturday July 15, 2017, comes few days after two unidentified armed robbers shot and killed one police officer and injured another colleague officer in broad day light at Lapaz near the Las Palmas Restaurant in Accra.

The robber is reported to have opened the door of the pickup vehicle from the back and pointed a gun at his victim from behind.

However, upon the swift intervention by onlookers and a police patrol team, the operation was foiled and he was arrested.
